Whether you ride solo or want to rally your barn buddies into a team of 3 to 4 horse-and-rider combinations, this event is open to all riders.
In the Team Challenge, a team consists of riders that enter any class in any grade.
Team scores will be calculated using the top three scores (with one drop score allowed if you have four riders). It’s a unique way to showcase your skills, support your team, and have a blast doing it!

- Walk / Trot Test 2
- Walk / Trot Test 3
- Training Level (Prelim) Test 2
- Training Level (Prelim) Test 3
- First Level (Novice) Test 2
- First Level (Novice) Test 3
- Second Level (Elementary) Test 2

- Third Level (Medium) Test 2

Our Guidelines for Videoing your Test:
- You may need the assistance of a friend of videographer to video your test for you.
- All tests must be filmed in regulation size 60m x 20m dressage arenas unless otherwise stated on the test.
- The markers (E,B etc) of the arena must be clearly visible to the judge.
- No other horses are permitted inside the arena whilst the competitor is filming their test.
- The videographer should be located at C, and the entire arena should be clearly visible without any obstructions.
- We recommend that the sun should be behind the cameraman for the best possible view of your horse.
- Any video recording device may be used, but if you are using a mobile phone please be sure to hold the phone sideways (landscape) for the best results.
- A tripod will provide the most steady recording, although this is not essential.
- Be sure to hold up a piece of paper at the beginning of the test with your name & the horses name as well as the test you are riding.
- The video should start recording well before the rider enters the arena, so that the judge may view the entire entry accurately.
- During the test, try and keep zooming to a minimum. Where you may need to zoom if the horse is at the far side of the arena, be sure to keep the arena markers and edges of the arena in view so the judge may assess the accuracy of the movements.
- All sound must be recorded, please do not mute sound in the video.
- You are permitted to use a caller.
- The recording should end after the rider has done a final salute.
- The recording must be done in one take and may not consist of edited versions joined together.
- Remember – you can send us your best video!
- Once your video is done upload the video to the site, please be sure to name the video carefully with the following format: Show Date, Class, Horse Name, Rider Name.
Frequently Asked Questions
Horses and ponies must be as presentable as possible. Plaited mane is recommended, but not essential.
Correct tack is required as per FEI Dressage Rules. This includes correct bits. Running reins, martingales or any other prohibited tack is not permitted and may result in elimination.
Safety hats , Riding Boots & Gloves are compulsory and any conservative riding gear with a collar and sleeve (like a golf shirt) may be worn. Show jackets are optional.
Unfortunately your trainer or coach may not provide additional assistance during your test, and you may be eliminated if the judge perceives any outside arena assistance.

The wellness of horse and rider is of paramount importance to us. Therefore judges will follow rules to ensure the best for horse and rider, even if this means a difficult decision to eliminate a combination.
As we eventually encourage our participants to compete at affiliated shows and events, we follow the FEI /SAEF rules as far as possible. Riders may familiarize themselves with these rules here.
